A large number of new students and their family members attended the GESS Welcome Fair 2016 at the GESS Junior Campus at Jalan Jurong Kechil, Singapore. The event has provied fertile grounds for plenty new potential members for the only official Bundesliga fanclub in Singapore and one of the few 2. Bundesliga fanclubs in Asia, despite the recently again lacklustre performance by the Boys from Cannstatt on the football pitch.

Besides a lucky draw for every interested visitor of the fair, 1. VfB Stuttgart Fanclub Asia (Singapore) organised a "Torwandschiesssen" competition for the more sportily inclined. Over 20 potential new members, friends and interested bowlers for the upcoming Bundesliga Bowling events could be won through the fair. A success hopefully to be repeated and even to be topped at next year's event.
